Fonda Duse is the Owner and Principal HR Consultant at Duse HR Solutions, an organization that assists small companies with big human capital-related issues. Ms. Duse skillfully leads all aspects of the budding business, including providing HR assessments, training and development assistance, HR best practices, and performing proper workplace investigations. Duse HR Solutions’ chief goal is helping organizations become more competitive in the global market, while also growing their businesses. Prior to launching Duse HR Solutions, Fonda Duse helped direct the Irving-based human resources outsourcer and professional employer organization, Gevity, as an HR Consultant. Serving as virtual HR manager for approximately 70 companies, Ms. Duse supported companies in growing their businesses by developing business partnerships and assisting clients from various industries with benefit administration, workforce alignment, HR compliance issues, retention, management leadership development, and HR administrative relief. Fonda Duse also served as HR Consultant and Paralegal for Dodge Legal Group in Dallas, Texas. With DLG, Ms. Duse expanded her expertise in HR by assisting countless clients with HR compliance, alongside assisting with pre-trial preparation, project management, and business development. Aside from her professional career, Fonda Duse believes in the importance of giving back to the community, having established an annual scholarship fund at her alma mater, Wilkinsburg Senior High School. She is also a part of The Dallas Blue Business Network, the Human Capital Institute, Executive Linked, Empowered Black Women, HR Strategic Sourcing, Human Resources US, University of Pittsburgh Alumni Association, National Association of African Americans in Human Resources, Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), and Woman 2 Woman Business Magazine. Fonda Duse received her Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from Saint Francis University in 1999 and her B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in Legal Studies in 1994. Fonda Duse holds three certifications in Conducting Lawful Workplace Investigations, Training Facilitations, and PHR (Professional in Human Resources).
