Director for the Northeast Quadrant of TrainND. Based at Lake Region State College, my mission is to help businesses expand their efficiency and effectiveness by training their employees. In our changing economy, the ND employee training system is here to support business and industry by providing the training they need…when and where they need it. Prior to becoming director, I served as the LRSC Program Manager, assisting the Vice President of Academic Affairs in maintaining and coordinating learning programs. I am certified by the State Board of Career and Technical Education as a Business Administration teacher and especially enjoy teaching Computer Literacy to adults. I like showing my clients' employees that computers are nothing to fear. “The computer has many practical uses in our everyday lives and once adults know that, the world of computers becomes fun—a way to be creative, a way to contact old friends, and a form of recreation. Workforce training goes along with my sincere interest in the people of our region and how we can increase their knowledge to function in today's fast-paced, technological society.” I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from North Dakota State University.
