Carlos is continuously evolving into an entrepreneur who loves brand evangelizing and solution crafting by blending social media technologies and his extensive business experience. He is considered to be masterfully proficient at mentoring, and training individuals in their career path searches and transitions whether a Millennial, Gen Y or Baby-Boomer. Awareness of purpose, self-branding, resumes, and social networking space identity are the focuses.

His passion, drive and knowledge is grounded in a 28 year professional career working for Westinghouse Electric and Eaton Corporations in technical solution sales, marketing and project management. Academically, he studied Civil Engineering at Stanford University's School of Engineering.

Also, Carlos' passion is conveyed via motivational public speaking forums complemented by being of service to others. He is a catalyst to building community through the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, St. Dominic's Catholic Community, Archbishop Riordan High School Alumni Board Association, and Grace Cathedral's "GraceWorks" Program.

Carlos created his firm "Visionary Business Consulting - Follow Your Heart" as a direct consequence of following his heart and he loves having the opportunity to inspire others to do the same in their entrepreneurial ventures.

Evidence of his new found business life is the co-launching of a business venture named iRM Consulting with a fellow Stanford Science, Technology and Society graduate, Antonio Colvin (B.S. 2007).  The primary goal is to help clients utilize the various Web 2.0 platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to target key demographics and scale brand exposure.

Comment: My observations are that PowerPoint centered presentations are a masquerade for weak public speakers. Toastmasters seems to be a better solution.
