I'm a "high tech inventor" sort that's been involved with several startup companies, some quite successful and others not, as is usually the case. Currently I'm working at Orange Labs (part of France Telecom R&D) in Research, which is a little different for me, since I've more often been more on the "D" than the "R" side in R&D. Well, that makes it interesting. I've done startups in high tech music, games, clothing, security and other areas. I hold a patent in the internet security area. I really enjoy and thrive on the unusual and difficult. My educational background includes MIT and Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (though I now live in the Boston area). I've done products for ARP and Cakewalk Music Software and was the co-founder and engineering director for Kurzweil Music, along with Stevie Wonder and others. I have some demos and ideas for new types of products in the video game/music area (sometimes called the "rhythm genre") and am hoping at some point to be able to develop tham into a company in that area.
