An experienced finance professional working in the legal field, Mrs. Beverly Stayart currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Business Development for Stayart Law Offices in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. In this position, Beverly Stayart oversees the management of all financial and marketing aspects of Stayart Law Offices. Wounded twice, he survived the war. He was the son of Thomas and Isabella (Colbert) Fitzgerald. Born in New York, he was reared in Ontario, Canada, and immigrated to the United States as a young man. Beverly Stayart has a famous ancestor, James Bowles Stephens. James Bowles Stephens founded East Portland, Oregon, which later merged with West Portland. He established the first ferry service in Portland on the Willamette River, which he operated for 17 years. There are many famous landmarks in Portland today commemorating him, including the James Bowles Stephens House, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
