Justice, liberty, and the self-organization we need for both drive me to get involved in lots of stuff. Some groups I support are the Fund for Authentic Journalism, Carlitos Café y Galeria in Spanish Harlem New York, Gringoyo Productions, and COA News. I helped found and was elected to the board of directors of Amazing Things Arts Center, which seeks to build community through the arts. Now I run the center's annual fundraising auction web site. As co-founder of Agaric Design Collective, I develop and maintain web sites for companies, organizations, and individuals, using (and creating) open source free software-- mostly Drupal. The only way to a better world is people finding and working with other people for what we need as effectively as possible. That's why I am helping build an open, transparent, not-for-profit network called, and for, People Who Give a Damn.
