Amy Rees Anderson serves as the CEO of MediConnect Global, the industry leader in innovative medical record retrieval, digitization and management for organizations and individuals. Amy is responsible for all aspects of MediConnect’s business including the overall management and strategic direction of the company. Under Anderson's leadership, MediConnect achieved more than 1,000-percent revenue growth from 2004-2009, and currently counts four of the five leading health insurers in the United States among its many clients. Prior to joining MediConnect, Amy founded and managed several successful healthcare technology ventures. As an entrepreneur and business leader she has raised over $50 million in capital, is a well respected public speaker, and teaches courses on entrepreneurship at several Universities. In 2007, Amy was awarded the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for her numerous accomplishments. Amy currently serves on numerous boards including: Utah Governor Gary Herbert’s Board of Economic Development (GOED), the Eccles School of Business National Advisory Board at the University of Utah and the Salt Lake City Chamber Board. She chairs the Utah State Motion Picture Advisory Committee and also sits on the Sundance Institute Advisory Board.
