I am a freelance writer by both passion and profession. I have written hundreds of songs for adults and children and used to sing at concerts, festivals, etc. A children's musical won a national award a few years ago. Another song, "The Old Dominion" is the only song, to date, that was ever selected by a legislative body of the VA General Assembly as a new state song.
