Following a successul career in the pharmaceutical industry in marketing and communications and as a result of downsizing, 2001 was the year of my reinvention. I started a coaching business for business owners, executives and other professionals to help grow their business, excel in their current position or transition to something new and different. I am especially interested in having a positive impact on others' success. The coaching I do is one of the most rewarding positions I have held over the last 20 years.
Owning a business does present its share of challenges, and while I have my doubts from time to time related to my business being successful, I have been known to step up to any challenge that presented to me. I'm not a huge risk taker but do try new things and am open to suggestions and different viewpoints. To the collegues in my professional network as well as to my family and friends, I demonstrate a can do attitude and for the most part, (afterall I am human) a positive take on things.
My interests include travel to national parks, hiking and biking, but I can't leave out shopping and one of my favorite pastimes.
I am a member of several organizations including Busines Networking International (BNI), Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA), Toastmasters International, Middlesex Country Regional Chamber of Commerce. I am a certified instructor of basic literacy and English as a Second Languea (ESL) and volunteer with the Middlesex County Literacy Program in New Jersey.
