Rachel has been with Fast Company since March 2008. Currently, she is also a graduate student at Columbia University School of Journalism, focusing on magazine writing and production.
Before arriving in New York City last fall, Rachel studied at the University of California, Berkeley, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and History. While there, she wrote for the university desk at The Daily Californian, and studied abroad in a French-language immersion program in Paris. In her spare time, she plays trumpet, travels as much as possible and enjoys photography.
A San Francisco native, Rachel often misses Mission-style burritos and wearing sweaters on foggy July afternoons.
Wherever you go, there you are.
