Microsoft is obviously chock-full of nice sweet people, slaving away to make its software products all groovy...but not Amy Barzdukas.
European Union Accuses Microsoft of More Anti-Competitive Action

The European Union has just taken a fresh bite at Microsoft's anit-competitive business practices, and accused the company of harming "competition between web browsers" by bundling Internet Explorer with its Windows OSs. It's a preliminarty finding, so no punitive action is outlined. Yet.

Can Opera Become to Mobile What Firefox has Become to the Computer?

Opera, as a Web browser on your computer, has been in existence since 1994, back when the desktop browser wars were between Netscape vs. Internet Explorer. Sure, there's no Netscape today, but the browser war is moving to the mobile Web, with Safari on the iPhone, IE on Windows Mobile, BlackBerry's Web Browser, and Chrome on Android. Not to mention, Firefox (aka Fennec) is coming to the mobile Web soon.

Just when you thought the war was over...

Now with the release of Google's Chrome browser and Microsoft's IE8 Beta, a new era of browser wars has begun. Firefox, Safari and Opera have made a bit of a dent taking about 20% of the market away from Microsoft but Google's Chrome browser threaten to be the first real competitor in the ring since the early days of Netscape.

What's good and bad about the browsers?
