Leadership is having the ability to pull everyone together in a given situation to accomplish a goal. Leadership is to make decisions that will not only affect them in a beneficial way, but for all who are linked to that decision.

Employees, customers, contractors, clients, consultants, and everyone who will experience the fallout from the leader's decision, positive or negative, must be considered when considering the making of a decision.

We, the enemy within:

We know that success comes from listening and paying attention to customers. And we know that paying attention to what our competitors are doing can uncover potential opportunities and threats.

For the same reasons, we also know that we should pay attention to the people inside our organization. But we don’t, not really. Most of the attention we pay them is in the form of instructions, rules, and regulations.

Can going green also affect our software choices?
