Made from stainless steel, Pyrex and silicone, the 11-oz. teapot by Joey Roth was originally created as part of his college portfolio. The clear body enables you to watch the tea leaves unfurl--and the pot itself was designed to look better with some wear and tear. Making tea is now officially cool. Even cooler? The sustainable packaging.

Made to Stick: The Myth of Mutual Funds

Let's pull off the Band-Aid quickly. You've come to believe that mutual funds are a smart place to put your money. They're not.

That's the assessment of the smartest minds in finance, supported by a mountain of historical data. If you own actively managed mutual funds, you will almost certainly retire with less money -- a lot less money -- than if you'd simply dumped your money into boring index funds. So two questions: How can this possibly be true? And why, in gleeful defiance of the data, do more people keep buying mutual funds every year?

How to Make Banking Fun

Suze Orman, the scourge of spending, must be thrilled: This past spring, U.S. credit-card debt rose by the smallest amount in three years.

Banks? Less so. Many have based their profits on high-interest lending, rising fees, and penalties -- drawing the ire of consumer advocates, congressional regulators, and anyone who has ever been on hold with Visa.

Good News: The Economy Isn't the Only Thing That's Dying

Some guy in Japan just bought the farm by working too hard. You heard right. He was 45, the lead engineer for a Toyota hybrid car division. While he was helping us reduce our dependence on oil, the poor guy ran out of gas. And he didn't even live as long as some of our aging rock stars. You know the economy is in bad shape when an auto worker doesn't last as long as Keith Richards. Prior to his death this dedicated worker had been averaging over 80 hours of overtime per month. Which I guess should now be referred to as "six feet undertime."
