Besides the economic crisis that we’re facing, the people of
America are having to deal with another crisis in the health care market.
Throughout the 2008 elections, the candidates made lots of promises to fix the
economic crisis in America. And one of the goals they promised to reach that
would help the economy and quality of living was through a health reform. A lot
of politicians don’t want to reform the health care, instead they want to
increase competition in the health care market. Although this would help to

It’s hard for many
individuals to believe that a leading country like the U.S. could be dependent
on China. If you’ve been following closely with the doings and spendings of the
United States, you’ll see how this has come to take place. First off, America
has a very bad spending habit. We are in debt so high that not many people see
how we can get out of it. The United States is debt spending and a lot of
important holders of Treasuries are in control of whether the U.S. will be

Every aspect of Muslims lives are covered in the teachings
of Islam. So when it comes to Islamic banking, you can be sure that there are
various rules to follow in order to stay within the boundaries of the faith.
According to Islam, bankers and other financiers are not allowed to charge
interest and they aren’t allowed to invest in prohibited businesses that
involve pork, weapons, gambling, alcohol and pornography. Here are some of the
basic methods that are widely used in Islam:

How China will Overtake the World –Robin Trehan

There are various reasons why
many believe that China will overtake the U.S. and the rest of the world within
the next 10 years or so. Over these past couple of decades, China has risen
extensively economically. Their GDP has grown 7 to 10 percent since the 80s and
there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight. The question doesn’t really seem to
be whether China will overtake the U.S., but it’s a question of when. Right
now, the U.S. is the world power because everything (meaning oil) is traded in

How to Fix the US Financial System- Robin Trehan

There’s no denying that the U.S. has a financial problem
that needs to be fixed, but the big debate is on how to go about doing so. Some
claim that America is going through a phase of rebalancing itself. If you look
around, this is somewhat so -- just look at the softening prices of homes in
the subprime market. A lot of the rebalancing is being directed towards getting
in ship shape and fit for an environment that’s more normalized. It’s said that
we are heading towards a business environment that has normalized levels for

to sharpen those skills a bit before we’re able to hit the floor running. In
the game of soccer, it takes a lot of dedication and practice to get good
handle of the ball. The same has to be done for leadership. Thinking about it
and planning out what’s to be done and how you’ll run things is good, but
without actually putting in a little practice, you’re sure to fail. A great way

6 C's of finance in drain- Robin Trehan

Let see, what is the problem in the finance. The 6 C's of Credit,
Character, Cash Flow, Collateral, Conditions and Capital, and customer.

1- Credit - There is none. Tax payers are bailing out without even there consent!

2- Character- it is matter of laugh on wall street.

3- Cash Flow- Based on what assets the banks and other financial
institutions have it will be a joke too. Most assets are illiquid to
hill.

4- Collateral- For underwriting and worried about collateral. Any appraisal for any bank!

5- Capital- Tax payers capital going in drain!

Leadership is Like Champagne with Lots of Sparkle, Charm, Body and Charisma- Robin Trehan

When it comes to being a leader, whether for business or personal reasons, you can easily compare it to a glass of champagne. You’ve been in this world long enough to see what bad leadership does to people -- a lot like tasting bad champagne -- lots of sour-looking faces and spitting. Some people just don’t have the charm and charisma to get a great following behind their leadership and this is because they’re only thinking of their own motives and benefits.

Money Changers: Eight Startups Brimming With Hope for the Financial Industry

"We were told to trust these institutions, and we did," says Mitch Tuchman. "We trusted Madoff. We trusted AIG. And now we've lost most of our life savings." Tuchman, though, is not an angry victim of some Ponzi scheme or shady subprime lender. To the contrary, the former hedge-fund manager is trying to be part of the solution, starting a company whose goal is to upend the trillion-dollar mutual-fund market by offering cheap, no-nonsense investment advice.

Mahatma Gandhi said, “It is health that is real wealth and not
pieces of gold and silver.” As one of the wealthiest nations in the world, the
United States should also be a leader when it comes to the health and wellness
of its populace. Unfortunately, that is not the case. America is in fact one of
the least healthy industrialized nations in the world.
