American Honda Passes Chrysler as top automaker in U.S market

The Big Three
is a term used in the automotive industry for the three major American
automotive companies. The former three major automotive companies that
dominated in the U.S and Canada are General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler.
Not too far behind these 3 automakers is Toyota. Toyota saw success in
2007 when it beat Ford in 2007 and won against GM in sales in 2008.
More recently, Honda has been getting in on the “Big Three” action by

This morning Toyota President Akio Toyoda apologized profusely to the Japanese people for making vehicles that have not excited domestic buyers. He was also contrite over the company's projected loss of $5 billion for the year, and for a recent floor-mat recall prompted by the deaths of four people in San Diego.
