1. There is too much competition The reason that there are many physical therapy offices in your area is likely because there is a high concentration of doctors in that area as well. Physicians generally refer to a PT facility that is close to their office. There are exceptions to this rule but is predominantly holds true. The game that you need to know how to excel in is how to acquire the majority of these patients in this area. Name one PT who left a densely populated area and put his or her practice into the stratosphere. You likely don’t know of anyone who has made that happen.
