Natalie S. Black

Catalyst. Strategist. Chic Philosopher.

 

Ms. Black’s approach to public relations and marketing is somewhat atypical as she combines her passion for culture, technology, art, and life with a creative practicality that has helped emerge black lotus from the noisy masses and positioned it as the hybrid agency to watch.

 

Prior to co-founding black lotus, Black’s career has spanned a variety of industries including non-profit, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, telecom and entertainment.  Her particular communications expertise in multicultural, ethnographic and behavioral marketing has called her to work with some of the best and brightest companies in the industries from publishing upstart Muevelo Magazine, where she served as Director of Marketing and Public Relations, to the EveryWoman’s Center, to niche entertainment Agency Black Mass Communication, and multinational powerhouse Estee Lauder Companies.  Equipped with her experiences from these positions, creativity, and intimate knowledge of culture, Natalie joined her long time friend and sister-in-arms to become black lotus, and change industry-wide perception, social application and approach to trans-cultural marketing communications.

 

Natalie now focuses her efforts on what she is incredibly passionate about- black lotus, and the highly specialized integrated marcom services it offers to the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, technology, real estate and entertainment sectors.  Through black lotus, Natalie has been able to integrate social media, culture and creativity into campaigns for Ford, Lincoln, Toyota, and Coty, to name a few, and breathes light and life into strategic communications plans that connect with audiences.

 

Ms. Black is the Co-Founder, Creative Director and Managing Partner of black lotus, and holds an interdisciplinary B.A. in Bioethics and Social Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
