I've been in the computer industry for 25 years.  I've worked in various industries including defense contracts, scientific research, software products, banking and trading, and now social networking.

I currently manage a 9 person software development and quality assurance team for Classmates.com.  Previously I set up and managed the enterprise architecture function for LaSalle Bank, part of ABN AMRO Bank, a large multinational bank based in The Netherlands.

I'm interested in out sourcing and off shoring (which I've been involved with off and on since 1991), agile development (having set up an agile approach before the term existed), and managing high-performing teams.  When I'm not working, I like to read, travel, maintain my blog and website (at http://www.alephnaught.com/), and computer music composition.

I'm married, I have a son who is 19, and a 15 year old schipperke.  We just moved to Woodland Hills, CA., from Chicago, IL.
