Bio and Interests: Narciso Tovar

I am an accomplished and proven leader in originating & implementing tremendously successful public relations campaigns.  I have proven experience in integrated marketing communications activities such as media relations, third-party advocacy initiatives, special events, trade show activities, crisis communications, cause-related marketing and grass roots campaigns.  I have a remarkable track record with strategic planning, creatively establishing mind-share for a variety of organizations (i.e. Vonage, Evolution Robotics, the Green Built Parade of Homes™, Project Playhouse, Wall Street Journal Online, The Center for Family Literacy).   

Outside the office: I am the world’s best uncle (it helps if one doesn’t mind looking both goofy and ridiculous at the same time); the world’s worst rollerblader (visualize Bambi on ice……now add some ‘WHOAs’ and ‘DOHs’ and you’ll have pretty accurate picture); the world’s most surprising shortstop (I can catch grounders and make line drives with the best of ’em); and the best kept secret of the Screen Actors Guild (from the ‘Richard III’ to selling a DQ burger in a commercial, I can rock the house!).

Pet Peeves: I don’t like people who don’t do their dishes; people who talk in movies (especially in really intense ones); drivers that don’t give you ‘the wave’ when you let them in to your lane; overhyped films; those who won’t ‘just shut up and dance.’
