Chad Hayward is
President and Assessment Director for Hire Insight, a firm that provides employers
with services in recruiting, screening and assessing high-potential job candidates.
His firm places a strong emphasis on both research and practice, using only
those methods and selection tools that have proven their worth in identifying employee
potential.
In 2001, he
received his Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Waterloo, since which time he has
consulted for organizations of all sizes, from three-person start-ups to large
multinational corporations. This has provided a substantial base of practical experience
and a keen understanding of the problems associated with the current state of
recruitment and selection.
Hire Insight was
established to help companies overcome these problems and to meet the need for
an more objective and ethical approach to recruiting. The result was a series
of systematic programs that provide clients with in-depth information on
candidate ability and potential, with consideration for the different timelines
