But the BP oil leak? Too soon.

Until now, you focused on moral concepts and abstract ideas. This oil is much too tangible. It is still very sticky on Louisiana's shores. Your shoot reminds us of Derek Zoolander taking a job in a coal mine.

The shots themselves don't come off quite as tone deaf as the copy with the feature: "Kristen McMenamy in the 'survivor' version, where she interprets in images the environmental drama that's afflicting the Gulf of Mexico," it singsongs.
