Sebastian Thrun

Cofounder, CEO, Udacity

At Google, which he joined in 2007, Sebastian Thrun captivated the world with visions of self-driving cars, Google Glass, and other research projects so far-out that Google calls them "moon shots." And as the cofounder of Udacity, he signed up millions of students for free online classes, though he now concedes that MOOCs may not be the answer to the education gap and recently pivoted to focus on vocational-focused learning for a fee. Thrun also serves as a part-time consultant to Google X.
