Salar Kamangar is the CEO of YouTube. As Google's youngest VP in 2006, he was the driving force behind the company's $1.65 billion acquisition of YouTube, which it purchased less than 20 months after its founders registered the domain youtube.com. Kamangar joined YouTube in the fall of 2008 to co-lead the operation along with founder Chad Hurley. Since then, YouTube has accelerated its momentum as the world's largest video platform, with a global audience that has mushroomed to more than 1 billion unique users a month.
