Online privacy is a conundrum that public officials, privacy advocates, and tech companies are all trying to solve. The issue has become so tangled that few even pretend to have an answer for all its complexities. But with the recent Senate introduction of a location-privacy bill, the government's taking a stab at it. Is it the right approach?
