Kathryn Hunt is a Near Eastern archaeologist, bioarchaeologist, and young adult cancer survivor who is researching evidence of cancer in the skeletal remains of ancient peoples. Her Paleo-oncology Research Organization (PRO) seeks insight into how biological, cultural, and environmental factors have played a part in the evolution of the cancer, and serves as a conduit for future multidisciplinary, open, and collaborative research into the global history of the disease.
