After building one of the biggest brands in natural beauty products, Leffler is focused on a different sort of makeover, this time in education. Ido, the co-founder of San Francisco based Yes To Inc. (the makers of Yes To Carrots, Yes To Cucumbers, and the other Yes To shampoos, moisturizers, and skin-care treatments available in 28,000 stores around the world launched Yoobi, a whimsical line of school supplies with a social payoff. Whenever someone buys a pencil carrier or notebook, the company donates a product to a U.S. school in need. This year, Yoobi expects to help around 750,000 students in more than 30,000 classrooms.
