In her nearly 30 years as a brand designer, Emily Oberman has spent 22 of them devising the brand identity and opening sequence for Saturday Night Live, overhauled The Tonight Show’s logo and opening for Jimmy Fallon, and helped create the catchy intro for Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. In 2015, Oberman branded Snoop's new line of weed products and edibles, called Leafs by Snoop. After plenty of “research” with the rapper himself, Oberman broke through what she has called the “rasta, crunchy, hempy, outlaw look” of most cannabis products and instead packaged the line with images of palm trees, fish, birds, and cloudy skies, all depicted in bright pastel colors to appeal to a broader spectrum of customers. She is also responsible for the logo and font design of Warner Bros.' upcoming Harry Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, as well as the colorful branding and show graphics for the Film Independent Spirit Awards.
