David Adjaye is a British architect who's earned acclaim for designing Denver's Museum of Contemporary Art as well as homes for celebrities such as Ewan McGregor and artist Jake Chapman. In 2009, he was selected to design the $500 million National Museum of African-American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., and recently designed a line of chairs for Knoll. Adjaye has eschewed a signature style, explaining "What's the point of building if you're just doing the same thing over and over again? That would kill me."
