One new player on the scene, Green Goose, at least tries to zig where others have zagged by focusing on physical product design rather than badge-addled vaporware. It's selling a family-friendly kit filled with cleverly designed digital sensors that let you add "game mechanics" to just about anything you have laying around the house.
