Fast Talk Response -

Leadership is not necessarily about coming across as a strong person or acting tough. Leadership is influence and influence is more than being aggressive or tough, it is about being smart. It is about being perceptive, about knowing how to mobilize people, about knowing what makes people tick, about knowing how to relate with people, about knowing who to go to when in trouble, about being resourceful, about appealing to peoples needs. Women who 'act' tough would not be taken seriously.

Fast Talk Response -

Potentially, but not exactly. AT&T, formerly Cingular Wireless was convinced in 2006 that VoIP over mobile was not necessarily a threat to their profit. They figured they could charge for traffic instead of minutes. Before that there were WiFi mobiles. VoIP in mobile is innovative. The profit motive does not in this case stifle innovation. Innovations such as the electronic wallet in a phone can deliver revenue by way of a small transaction fee. TV over mobile is innovative and generates enough profit to be worthwhile. The list goes on.
Comment on Node ant

A great article. From my experience, innovation is not something that is fostered very successfully amongst employees in China. This gives us Western countries a little breathing room only if we can continue to provide the right environments that cultivate innovation as mentioned in the article.
