Fast Talk Response -

Stupid. Not because it is ineffective advertising, but because a commercial campaign which continually exudes a bright message over time is better than a one time shout.

The way in which people choose to communicate will create new industries, not the other way around. If you in the fields of research in new communication technologies then focus on what technologies yield the most compelling communication experience. This is an interesting graph: http://www.ramius.net/managedcollaboration/wp-content/uploads/2007/03/se...

Nobody refutes the idea that technology is flattening the world, making the world smaller. But when Nicholas Negroponte wants to utilize his and Seymour Papert's cutting-edge science to make sure entire countries do not get left behind in the formation of our new "smaller" world.. people just don't get it.

Fast Talk Response -

Not yet. I love my iPhone, it's like owning your own little piece of the future. But text entry is a bitch, AT&T edge is a bitch, and paying $500 for a phone made me feel like a bitch. Let the developers jump on board with the coming release of the iPhone SDK and let Apple make some hardware upgrades, eventually you will find absolutely no reason not to buy your own little piece of the future.
