Green is good and we need to really push the agenda for sustainable business climate forward. The world will see a $250 barrel crude oil prices in the next 10 years and that can really unsettle the world. So time to reinvent the world has come. We have to work within a global framework. It is no longer EU verses Asia or America. We have to work together for our wellbeing and prosperity.

Intel is really doing it for their self-interest. C. Barrett is being candid. While I say this, Intel needs to invent a model to connect to the lesser fortunate people of the world. These people, if given a poor chance can produce miracles and really drive economic growth forward. They poor can actually produce the economic renaissance.

An MBA is a plus for an innovator. Sometimes it is drag as well. Great innovators often go by instinct while the MBA program trains you to think analytically and logically. The innovator also does his/her maths but perhaps uses a different system and non-conventional approach at times where as the MBA person rationalizes things by arguing things out using conventional wisdom found in the books. It is hard to tell if MBA adds significant benefits to an entrepreneur's spirit or vision.

Fast Talk Response -

I believe ICT4D is not gaining the true potential it has due to inertia of change in one's mindset. I, for example, had written to many organizations suggesting that we can work on the internet space and really produce potentially explosive business consulting results/outcomes, but most companies still like the touch and feel type of comfort while handing or handling an assignment. I believe this mindset has to change because of good business logic necessitates the reduction of costs.

I believe fast company should focus on news and issues of South Asia especially Bangladesh and India. For example, environmental stewardship is slowing being introduced in the corporate sector in Bangladesh and people are becoming more sensitized regarding ethical concerns and issues of corporate governance.

I think you cannot compare apples and oranges. Proper use of Plastic bottles do not create cancer. However, tobacco has many ills and one of them is cancer and this has been proven time and time again, but there is little legislative support anywhere in the world because the tax benefits are enormous for the governments of the world to look elsewhere.
