Quick Start to Social Media Change

Since I started blogging about social media and PR, I've managed to
spark a lot of discussion around some seemingly overlooked
opportunities for newspapers, journalists, brands and agencies to
embrace and integrate social media. Sometimes I just stir things up,
but my goal is to generate some practical methods for integration.

The New PR: Clean, Green, Smart

By now, you should know I'm a big proponent of social media for both PR and journalists alike. On the PR side, this new revolution
is about more than just increased efficiency and open dialog, it's also
Comment on Node ant

Foreign fuel efficient vehicles? You might want to check your facts- emissions standards are way lower in countries outside the U.S. I rely on my SUV for four-wheel and safety among other things in the mountain region where I live. Halting production is ridiculous... Gas will become too expensive when America stops buying bottled water. After all, that's FREE.

Go Ahead, Add 'News Producer' To Your Resume

So I'm sifting through my RSS feeds on Google Reader, organizing each element just right, and filtering out the junk I don't want to read about when it hits me... I'm producing my own news!

Fast Talk Response -

Fast Company has a good approach, however it needs to be tied back into the magazine more to promote it. How about sharing online content with print readers. Show them that there is more going on here than you can show in an ad. I think Wired has done the best job thus far with integrated a web program. Because FC readers are web savvy- more resources and networking possibilities would be best.
