Make Every Day Father’s Day – Go Hang Out with Your Kids!

For many of us busy dads, balancing business and family is a daily challenge. That’s why Father’s Day is a good reminder to set aside more time to hang out with our kids. Not only do we need the break, but quality time with your children can go a long way.

Someone shared an article with me that showed that children with involved, loving fathers are significantly more likely to do well in school, have healthy self-esteem and avoid high-risk behaviors such as drug use, truancy, and criminal activity compared to children who have uninvolved fathers.

Hey guys, that's why I created www.onthesystem.com. Virtual teams are the future. All that's needed are more effective ways to communicate, coordinate and collaborate. I believe with the right web-based tools virtual teams can change the world.

Fast Talk Response -

Progress and innovation will advance with you or without you. Startups without anything to lose will pop up with an idea that will cause you more aggravation than tough economic times. If you stop innovating you've lost half the battle. So, bottom line: Keep innovating. Start by thinking of ways to use the "slowdown" to your advantage.

Comment on Node ant

Obviously, when you are in start-up mode you are wearing all the hats. Also, your primary focus has to be identifying your "secret sauce." However, it is never to early to start mapping out your business model. Start by standardizing processes that are easiest to delegate to part-time employees or independent contractors.

Even if you cannot afford to outsource your work at this point in your venture you should be ready when opportunity strikes. Success can come quickly.

3-Steps to Take Control of Your Business

The following three simple steps are your key to getting very organized and taking control of your business.

Step #1: Break-down your business into departments.

Departments serve one function: They categorize related processes so they can be managed efficiently and effectively. Every organization, regardless of size or stage of development, needs to categorize roles into departments. It is a prerequisite to creating a scaleable operating structure and delegating your responsibilities, responsibly.

If You Feel Like a Prisoner in Your Business, Here's Your "Get Out of Jail Free Card

You won't believe the conversation I had with a successful business owner.

The owner has made millions of dollars. He lives in a beautiful home in one of the richest neighborhoods, and do you know what he told me?

He told me he wants to quit! He wants to get out of his business.

He feels his company has robbed him of his life. He feels like a stranger to his family and he's tired of the constant hassles with customers, vendors and employees.

Have you ever wondered why it’s so hard to breakthrough from one level of success to the next? Your business grows to a point and then stops dead in its tracks. It’s beyond frustrating.

Your expensive consultants shrug their shoulders and move on to their next victim. Meanwhile, you pay their bills and wonder what went wrong.
