 <description>&lt;p&gt;Newspapers will have to deal with a new reality: in a world which produces too much information, you can&#039;t charge for it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But newspapers should know, they never charged for information...they charged for attention. They sold the attention of their readers to their advertisers. The same model applies today.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The question newspapers have to ask is this: how do we make people pay attention to what we&#039;re doing online?&lt;/p&gt;
