Al Qaeda Endorses McCain

In an endorsement that will not be welcomed by Mr McCain's flagging campaign, the group said that if al-Qaeda wants to exhaust the USmilitarily and economically, the "impetuous" Republican presidential candidate is the better choice.

There's no doubt that Senator Biden won the debate resoundingly. Sarah Palin showed herself to be a political lightweight, utterly unready for the high office John Mccain is proposing her for. That said, she got away with it and lives to fight another day, which is a victory in itself.

I certainly hope they are! I strongly believe, though, that Barack Obama is the best person to lead us to the "broad sunlit uplands" rather than the reactionary and out-of-touch McCain.

I am all in favor of "creative ideas" and "inclusive strategies". I am nervous that the lunatic right wing see this and make it a licence to burn more oil over here. By the way, the Chinese are right to criticize the US - we burn 25% of the world's energy with only 2% of the world's population.
