 <description>&lt;p&gt;The weak consumer spending certainly played a factor in the delay in some of the product releases.  The AAXA P1 pico projector was one of the first units that became widely available and it&#039;s price/performance ratio probably caused some of these companies that announced these products to re-evaluate the competitiveness of their offerings.&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Funny... 6-months later half of these projectors are still not available for purchase.  I&#039;ve had my AAXA P1 pico projector (&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.aaxatech.com/products/kp190.htm&quot; title=&quot;http://www.aaxatech.com/products/kp190.htm&quot;&gt;http://www.aaxatech.com/products/kp190.htm&lt;/a&gt;) since February and it&#039;s been a ton of fun.  It&#039;s also costs less than any of these late-comers ;)&lt;/p&gt;
