Well I must say that at 2years of work experience I am still too young tom comment on this subject but what i do agree with is that what the HR department misses out is the "fire" that an individual possesses. All that the HR department looks for us conformity to what "they" have in mind as a suitable fit. I still remember my first few interviews, I being an I.T engineer was consistently rejected for jobs in the Marketing domain though Marketing is what I wanted to do.

Well I must say the Publishing industry may be waiting for a miracle that may never happen. It may however be possible for Publishing houses to tie up with organizations(like the ones mentioned above) and have an exclusive deal to sell books only thru those organizations. Also, the organizations in turn can develop software that ensures that the digital version of the book’s are only accessible thru their device and no other.

Has it ever crossed your mind why is it that "YOU" didn't get that promotion you deserved or why "YOU" were overlooked for the new assignment? "You" probably deserved it, but no one knew that you did, basically because you failed to market the brand called "YOU".
What i find here in this article is what I have always believed in...YOU are a brand and need to be managed by "YOU". I also believe that to truly make a Brand of yourself you need to truly be "worth it"...no one believes in brands that do not have any value.
