awesome! google will make design happen eventually. we should take what they are offering now for free - and appreciate it! (and leverage it to our own, ahem, capitalist advantage).

i hope this isn't true. alas, i'm worried it is. from what i've seen at a personal level, barnes and noble still doesn't use online calendar to schedule its employees. can you imagine? employees have to show up to the actual retail store to view their schedule. Yikes!! my point- how can a company that is so online-inept actually create a genius technology tool? smells fishy....

whoa! i'm a yelper. i would not want the world to find out about my horrible experience staying at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. they run a sneaky advertising/promotions scam on their reservations page of their website. and they are aware of it. (like, it says, "book now and save an additional 10%" - but what they mean is "book now and you'll get the price above - not an additional 10% off of that"). they get about 4 complaints a month regarding this issue, the concierge told me. and yet- they don't fix it. why?

I agree with Anne Dougherty (see comment) that there is a huge, untapped audience, e.g., "single women over 50 not looking for a mate". truly effective companies and their 3.0 media will reach those audiences.
