 <description>&lt;p&gt;Product alone will NOT save Detroit. The Taurus was a bandage, it got Ford through the end of the millennium. They need to innovate their product, of course. But they also need to innovate the manufacturing process. Toyota has been refining and honing their process for years and are the undisputed leader in that game. Ford will also have to change their business. The bottom line is that the game has changed so will Ford have to play catch-up instead of being the leader.&lt;/p&gt;
