The best part of the entire hologram comedy was CNN intentionally staging a technical difficulty to justify the use of the silly stunt. No doubt the technology was rad, but its use was superfluous.

During the next Grant Park toss , "hologram girl" appeared in the physical as traditional on-the-scene journalist. Standing before a throng of party goers, she reported minus handheld mic, wearing a lavalier, and surprise, you couldn't hear her!

Amazing to think you could not hear reporter standing in front of eight years of bottled hope. Set free, shit.
