I'm a member of the underwater mortgage club myself and I have to tell you it's been rough. Now Obama is talking about raising taxes for the 5% of Americans - those making over $250,000. So now...let me understand this....first my mortgage is under water (make that 2 mortgages, a rental and my current home) but now I am also going to be hit by higher taxes. It's not just the middle class and poor being hurt here. We needed REAL answers and real solutions to stimulate housing prices and the economy. We are in for a grim, grim, grim next few years.

Unfair taxation is just as bad as racism. Why should I have to pay more for the middle class and poor just because I make over $250,000. Believe me when I say it isn't any easier for me to pay over $100,000 in taxes every year just because I make good money. Our family lives in a regular neighborhood and drives to mid-economy cars...we certainly don't feel rich. We do work really, really hard and have long hours. We earn every penny of that money and don't feel that we should have to pay more than others.
