Comment on Node ant

Usually, people don´t define the customer first because they want to sell to everybody. On the other hand, there are still many people who think their success is guaranteed just in case they make business with rich people.

I really appreciate the social entrepreneurs who apply technology on services that freely increase people´s life quality and, thus, reconfigure whole markets. It´s really fascinating.

Cheers!

Comment on Node ant

I think one of the company´s fears is that bad-intentioned (non)customers would give public bad judgement on their products or services. I mean, people woh are advocates of other brands. Like, say, Apple freaks versus Microsoft freaks. "I won´t let my competitors come in and say whatever they want about our business in our social media environment", I can hear.

Anyway, I think your argument still stands up. I agree, it´s time to go transparent.

Hello! I´m a journalist, webwriter and hypermedia consultant, with focus on IT, business communications and sustainable development. I´ve graduated in Rio Grande do Sul 5 years ago, I´m a reader of Andreas´ (a member in this group) work, and lately I´m interested in cyberdemocracy. I have worked as reporter and columnist for newspapers (in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina), editor for magazines (in Santa Catarina), communications coordinator for an It & KM group (in São Paulo, and that´s where I live now).

Example and quality of e-Government issues

Hello! How do you perceive electronic government efforts in your communities?

In Brazil, the state of Santa Catarina is known for pioneering in the field of web-based services for citizens and companies. Other city halls and states, as well as the Union, also provide some facilities.

Do you find yourself satisfied with the "web 2.0 quality" you deal with on a daily basis, as you were a worker or costumer of the social institutions?
