Time to move on to SaaS aka. Hosted Software

Recently I see some business owners communicating with clients or suppliers using free email accounts provided by gmail, hotmail and yahoo. These email accounts are free, but how do they represent your company? If two companies offering the same service email you to promote their services, but one of them use a hotmail account (john@hotmail.com) while the other has it's own domain name (john@rogers.com), which company makes you feel more secure to do business with?

What is CRM? and should I invest in it?

It is important to keep track of existing clients and hope they will continue using your products/services because they are your main revenue stream. Remember to keep them coming back to you! But How?

First of all, your products/services need to maintain its quality. If quality of service cannot be maintained, it is not likely that you will get more business out of existing clients.

Comment on Node ant

The article is very true and I have experienced some of those pain myself. However, it might be difficult for small business/home offices to invest in expensive fail-save measures like anti-virus software and backup hardware. I would suggest these business owners to invest in hosted software such as Cyberhood ECP (Enterprise Collaboration Portal). It is a management software that included functions such as email, address book, calendar, online data storage, task management...etc
