I absolutely agree with Randall Drew. WE DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

As a newcomer to the real world trying to survive "the gas prices crisis" on an entry-level salary, I did a roadside experiment when the cost of a gallon surpassed $4.00 this past summer. For one week, I made myself use a different method of transportation to get to and from work every day, including my car, carpooling, public transportation of the train and the bus, and then a bike. The entire experience was incredibly eye-opening. We actually DO have various options to cut back on our gas consumption.

GREAT BLOG! Ironically, I just wrote a similar one myself on Starbucks' recent menu addition of "The Perfect Oatmeal" and how their service of this product aligned with the original Starbucks service that took it from small coffee shop to eatery empire. Then, just like you, the blog asks how our businesses can learn from Starbucks' example and continually aspire to modify service for better results. Please read on if you're interested:

I would say the medical industry is best shielded from the Wall Street crisis.

So I didn't score that high on my verbal SATs but I think I can manage a simple analogy here. Coffee:Social Networking::Starbucks:Facebook.

Why do we love Facebook? It's not because you have the ability to poke someone on the other side of the world. It's not because for months you've been able to plant a comical or raunchy bumper sticker on your friend's wall. And it's certainly not because you can view advertisements that "magically" speak directly to your age group and music tastes.
