 <description>&lt;p&gt;This article was just a great read.  As a Nigerian-American I have always figured the reason why the continent of Africa is hard-pressed to succeed is mainly due to rampant Corruption.  This article points out that in order to satisfy the appetite of the Chinese people for raw materials, they are essentially exploiting corruption for their own benifit.  I read in several comments how the Chinese have built roads, hospitals, soccer stadiums, but didn&#039;t the westerners also do that?&lt;/p&gt;
