 <description>&lt;p&gt;Is this a rebuke against advertising? A call for positive - affirming advertising? Or just simple wining?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Messieurs Heath essentially argue shaming people into consumption is bad.  While I do agree with this in principle, I do think they miss the mark.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To my point, the article &quot;American Apparel&#039;s New Image&quot; by Rob Walker, also appearing in the June edition of Fast Company, quotes American Apparel CEO Charney:&lt;/p&gt;
