A commuting executive is fine, as long as his or her absence doesn't become a kickstand to hold up the bicycle of a company which is immobile. But, say the company is moving and at faster speeds than when the exec was present, then either the exec is pretty damn good or not necessary at all. All incidents require individual judgement.

We start-ups have to stick together like duct tape on a glue bottle. Did I just say that? I will comment. Everyone, make sure you support this as you would want someone to do for you.

Warning: Shameless plug. This annual event needs dynamic high-performance stunts and acrobatic performances via my start-up Street Flips (streetflips.com). Think about it. Start-up company at a start-up event with some crazy and original entertainment. Could be sexy...
Either way, good luck with this event.

No. People like tangibles. And studies show a high percentage of preference in the dual viewership of digital media and print media. Print is easier on the eyes and certainly more cuddle-friendly on a Tuesday night in a loft with a fire burning and good read.

You've certainly found a niche market. The most important thing is making people believe you: believe your site is the place for cowboy country businessmen and women.
Also, big difference between small towners and your big city counterparts. Personal relationships. The ones you create over a cup of coffee or dinner at Bellavitae are stronger and more business gets done via this channel. However, a social network that allows you to buy a drink for a client or partner across the country and video chat will certainly be the breakthrough of that barrier. Hey, there's an idea... :)
