Fast Talk Response -

Interestingly enough, though a massive technology / software firm, Microsoft has always been "slow" to innovate. Instead they seem to watch, wait, then destroy the competition with a better product. Re-branding themselves won't change this, and mostly Microsoft needs to be a pioneer in new technologies that people actually want and can access (think Surface, interesting but more industry related vs retail).

Fast Talk Response -

Moreso the pricing will deter me for anything frivolous.

Non-frivolous: much needed beach time in Hawaii, trade shows, clients, manufacturers etc. meetings.

Frivolous: anything else.

Comment on Node ant

It would have so many legality problems, specifically with morbidly obese / disabled persons. I agree with the poster that the amount of fuel could actually be negligible, but its a great lightening rod for them to raise more prices.

I'd like to see our passenger train systems come back online, as well as be expanded. Our country is so spread out of course, we cannot compare the systems to Europe, but if you could take a train to CA from NV saving $200 bucks, while losing four or so hours of time...it would be a nice option.

Fast Talk Response -

Probably more. I just signed up a month ago, have reconnected with colleagues, and have made some new solid connections.

Though the pricing plan is interesting: it is a business-geared website, but they may find more value having more "resume" friendly pricing. Or I would say, "college-grad" pricing.

Fast Talk Response -

Yes, I thought we are all free to quote whatever we want in the public domain as long as sources are cited.

This would be different such as "pro" content, or paid subscription material is pulled from a page then posted for free on a blog.

I think its misguided, but the recording industry suing individuals for hundred's of thousand's of dollars is more misguided, reprehensible and silly.

New format for this blog: my business research, findings and application

Previously, I have been posting articles which I have written, or interesting articles I liked in the past. I like the candor of fast company, and believe this could be a great opportunity to "brain storm" in a research-like fashion with others.

Meaning, I do a lot of research online. Product, feasibility, SEO (I'm still learning the mid-level basics) and more. Combining my thoughts, and interesting finds will hopefully give others a jumpstart on their own companies.

Cheers!

I like the distinction made between a company that is based on AN innovation, and a company which innovates.

Excellent interview / post.
