Comment on Node ant

Facebook and many of the other social networks will loose value considerably in the coming year as corporations and investors are beginning to realise they are not pulling in the level of revenues they were initially expected to and valued on.

Until they begin to realise their full potential and bring in the bucks, they will struggle for some time to come.

Fast Talk Response -

Its really a question of social responsibility and ethical business practices. It is not really fair to hold ISPs soley responsible for illegal content as they are merely service providers often serving millions upon millions of 3rd party content requests, which is in itself difficult to control entirely.
However, there should be a common agreement, or regulation regarding prevention and awareness advertising against illegal content, which ISPs should be duty bound to uphold for the sake of integrity in the industry.

Fast Talk Response -

The introduction of a sales tax on Internet purchases would make online purchases less competitive. The result of this could see retailers claw back sales from the e-tailers.
Statistics will show the gap narrow between the two. Some e-tailers will close shop while others will be forced to merge.

Fast Talk Response -

Obesity is mainly to do with diet and eating to much. So is it realistic to expect a video game to solve Americas obesity problem? It could play a part in making excersize fun and accessible, but solving obesity - I'm not convinced.

I'm sure they know what they are doing, theve been around for a while. It is an interesting move though.
